The Gleim Virtual Cockpit BATD® is an FAA-approved simulator that conforms to procedural and operational performance tasks specific to the ground and flight training requirements to develop proficiency toward the private pilot certificate (2.5 hrs), instrument rating (10 hrs), and maintaining instrument currency, in accordance with Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) parts 61 and 141.
